I'm Daniel King, a blacksmith and the owner of Kings Court Forge in Ambleford, Tonbridge, specialising in kitchen knives. I've taught over 3,000 people who had never picked up a hammer, and my own journey began the same way: I made a little knife on a course and never looked back.

All of our courses are taught in small groups, allowing you to receive plenty of individual guidance and make the most of your time at the forge.

You’ll never feel lost in a crowd. Your blacksmith will be there to offer as much support as you need, helping you develop your skills while creating the best possible finished piece.

Our courses are relaxed and enjoyable, with the pace guided by you. Whether you’re completely new to blacksmithing or already have some experience, we’ll give you the time and support you need to hone your skills and enjoy the process.
